What injuries do we rehabilitate?
From the first day of an acute injury to the most stubborn chronic case, we have a clear, data-driven path to recovery.
Overuse & Chronic Injuries
These are injuries caused by repetitive activities that cause pathology over time.
- Rotator cuff tendinopathy
- Biceps tendinopathy
- Subacromial bursitis
- Chronic shoulder impingement
- Forearm overuse
Acute Injuries
Injuries that have happened very recently with a specific and known cause.
- Falls onto an outstretched arm
- Lifting and throwing injuries
- Sports collisions
- Sudden muscle pulls and tears
Sprains & Strains
An injury that involves a stretched, partially torn, or fully torn ligament or tendon.
- AC joint sprains
- Elbow ligament sprains
- Elbow UCL Sprains
- Rotator cuff strains
- Forearm and biceps strains
Who needs orthopedic physical therapy?
If pain in your shoulder or elbow is affecting how you live, work, or train, now is the time to address the symptoms. If your shoulder is also losing motion and stiffening up, see our dedicated frozen shoulder physical therapy in Salt Lake City.
- Athletes with tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, or throwing pain
- Active adults with nagging shoulder or elbow pain
- Tradespeople and office workers with overuse injuries
- Anyone recovering from a fall, sprain, or strain

Why does timing change everything?
Many "chronic" injuries are acute injuries that were ignored for too long. The longer a tendon or joint stays inflamed and underloaded, the longer it can take to treat.
- Can help reduce pain in the early stages of healing
- Prevents acute injuries from becoming chronic
- Reduces compensations that lead to secondary symptoms
- May help avoid the need for more invasive treatment options
- Gets you back to sport, work, and life faster
When should you come in?
Sooner is better. Typically, the sooner we can start a targeted rehab plan, the quicker we can resolve your symptoms.
Within days of an acute injury
This allows us to begin the appropriate treatment immediately.
Recurring flare-ups
Chronic and recurring injuries rarely go away on their own.
Before considering injections or surgery
Many conditions can be treated with physical therapy prior to more invasive options.
Don't wait for it to "go away on its own."
Whether your pain is brand new or has been hanging on for years, book a free 15-minute consult and we'll map out your next step.
